AI Is the New Insider Threat

For years, many organisations benefited from an unofficial security control: sensitive information was technically accessible, but nobody quite knew where it was. Enterprise AI is rapidly removing that layer of protection. As AI assistants, copilots and autonomous agents gain access to corporate data, collaboration platforms and business systems, they are becoming some of the most knowledgeable participants in the organisation. While AI delivers significant productivity and innovation benefits, it also amplifies existing data security and insider threat risks by making information easier to discover, connect and surface. The challenge for security leaders isn't whether to adopt AI, but how to govern it. As enterprise AI becomes embedded in everyday workflows, organisations must rethink traditional insider threat models and treat AI as a privileged participant in the business. After all, AI doesn't need to break into systems. It simply makes use of the access we've already given it

The Robots Are Definitely Coming

A year ago, I asked whether the robots were coming. In 2026, the more uncomfortable answer is that we’ve already deployed them. AI is no longer just a tool for attackers—it is becoming part of our own infrastructure, with identities, data, APIs, tools and the ability to take action. This is what that means for cybersecurity, and why securing the AI itself is becoming just as important as defending against it.

AI Cybercrime

In 2025, cybercriminals have found a new partner in crime: artificial intelligence. From deepfake phone calls to shape-shifting malware, AI-powered attacks are smarter, faster, and far more convincing than anything we’ve faced before. This post explores how the machines have joined the dark side—and what we can actually do about it (without unplugging everything and fleeing to the woods).

AI and Cyber Security: Frenemies with Benefits

There’s a popular saying in cyber security circles: “If it’s smart, it’s probably a security risk.” Enter Artificial Intelligence—our shiny, silicon-brained sidekick that promises to help defend the digital realm…

What If Your Firewall Could Talk?

What if your firewall could do more than block traffic—what if it could talk? This blog explores how AI and large language models like ChatGPT are transforming traditional firewalls into intelligent, conversational defenders. Say goodbye to cryptic logs and slow response times. Discover how LLM-powered firewalls can explain alerts, predict threats, and support your security analysts in real time
